The Dark Champion pursues the team, who are rescued by Chompsky via the aeroglyder. They take flight, but D.C. manages to damage the craft. The team is dismayed as it seems that none of their blows can damage him. Chompsky spots the Caterpillar Train and nobly drops off the team as he diverts D.C. The team escapes - meanwhile, the Beadys are back and eyeing the train for robbery. Nar Est's Dark Crystal shatters, but he realizes that the key's glow can lead him towards the Forgotten Fortress - however, it will be a slow going journey. D.C. is intercepted by the Beadys ...
