The murder of unconscious civil servant Frank Torfs puzzles the team, until Masson works out he lead a double life as moonlighting, licensed PI. He photographed his steady girlfriend Andrea Nys dating another man, but also used her to hide evidence for his manuscript on John Cockx's cocaine gang. He was informant for Antwerp PD narcotics chief Freddy Steveniers's rookie Roel Deckers, which leads to new crimes.
