Solar Opposites opowiada historię czterech kosmitów, którzy uciekają ze swojej eksplodującej planety, rozbijają się na Ziemi i zamieszkują na przedmieściach. Ich zdania na temat naszej planety są podzielone. Korvo (Justin Roiland) i Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) widzą tylko zanieczyszczenia, skąpy konsumpcjonizm i ludzką słabość, podczas gdy Terry (Thomas Middleditch) i Jesse (Mary Mack) kochają ludzi, całą ich telewizję, śmieciowe jedzenie i zabawne rzeczy.
