Weronika kontynuuje prywatne śledztwo w sprawie śmierci swojej przyjaciółki Lilly. Właśnie dowiedziała się, że córka mężczyzny, który przyznał się do winy, Amelia DeLongpre (Erin Chambers), ma otrzymać pokaźne wynagrodzenie od Jake'a Kane'a (Kyle Secor), ojca zamordowanej. Jednocześnie w szkole Weronika otrzymuje zlecenie od koleżanki. Sabrina (Megan Henning) ukończyła naukę z najwyższą lokatą i to ona powinna przemawiać na uroczystości rozdania dyplomów.
