Film opowiadać będzie o wczesnych latach życia Jobsa, od momentu gdy stał się hippisem, aż do czasów, gdy zapracował na miano najbardziej szanowanego pioniera technicznego i biznesmena. Akcja pokaże najważniejsze chwile z jego życia w latach 1971 - 2001.
Reżyseruje Joshua Michael Stern na podstawie scenariusza Matta Whiteleya. W obsadzie są także Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons i Matthew Modine.
